EPISCOPAL COMMISSION ON YOUTH (ECY)

The Commission on Youth:

1. Shall undertake continuous studies and periodic research on the current situation, aspirations and needs of the Filipino youth, be they in or out of school.
2. Shall draw up policies, as well as propose formational and pastoral programs for the youth as may be needed and required by Dioceses or regions.
3. Shall establish and maintain the National Secretariat on Youth headed by a National Director.
4. Shall establish communication and collaboration with the Youth Section of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC) and of the Pontifical Council of the Laity through the exchange of information, documentation, programs and invitations to Youth Conventions or Fora, specially the World Youth Day.
